Even when there is no sport at all, football clubs and footballers can STILL manage to annoy me  >:)

This proves that you have remained rational so far @raisingirl
What happens when the decorating is done, the sock drawer is tidy , the garden ditto and you've had all the recipes you've got ingredients for twice??

and as for Lineker and his ilk.... >:)
It's the way they try to justify it. When you think that a cut of 20 to 30% for one player, in one week, would probably pay the wages of another member of non playing staff for about 6 months, or even more, that's what's vile.

Yeah but the NHS needs footballers to be paid millions of pounds :o
Anyway my hands are knackered today. I really should have worn gloves in the garden this weekend but they kept annoying me. I've been clearing out loads of old pots and repotting plants while reclaiming all the old grit and both my thumbs have split and my skin feels like sandpaper. All the handwashing hasn't helped I guess. I'm much happier with how the garden is looking anyway. :)
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Not to mention the fact the the groundsmen/women and back room staff are all having 80% of their salaries paid for by the country’s taxpayers of the future ie our children and grandchildren so that the clubs can afford to keep paying the players their obscene salaries 😡

Scumbags strike again.  In Llandudno we have a hospice providing palliative care, free of charge, for people with incurable illness.  It is supported entirely by voluntary contributions, and its numerous charity shops in the area.  These, of course, have had to close, so the hospice's income has plummeted.  So what do the scumbags do?  Break into their donations warehouse, make off with everything of value, trash everything else, and trash the building.  £K's worth of loss and damage.

Including the Scottish Chief Medical Officer who has now resigned because she was caught ignoring the advice she was giving everybody else and sneaking off to her second home  - twice!  Words fail me.
