Presumably, when Bishop Wiseman [is it still April Fool's Day?] is in hospital on a ventilator, the nurses can ask him 'how's that magic potion workin' for ya?'

The sad thing is, there will be people who'll fall for it. He should be up in court on a charge of some kind.

The ex president of The Gambia claimed he could cure AIDS by waving his copy of the Koran and some herbs over folk. Strangely enough, they all died.

It is strict here @Nollie altho, apart from controls when entering the SM, I haven't seen any police patrols here yet tho there are stories on the news and meejia of idiots being rounded up for this and that really stupid transgression usually.  Next door neighbour is a gendarme too so a bit obvious if we transgress the letter of the law, or the spirit.

Doesn’t seem to be any rules in this country, or is it just the people that think they don’t apply to themđŸ€ŹđŸ€ŹđŸ€Ź

someone on another forum is having a big PE lesson on the green, all the residents, all the kids and all the dogs,  jury’s still out on whether the dog can carry virus for a short while on the hair, and are advising washing hands after touching your dog.
What part of staying home to people not get.
Don’t they realise, the longer they can’t stay home the longer it’s going to take and the worse the countries will slip into a decline.

@fairygirl,  thank you for asking about son,  trying to contain myself responding to some of these posts!
I feel I’m the only one in a world of zombies, do course  that’s not true because I have all you, but it’s just how I feel.
David had to leave his job, he didn’t want to but his wife and I nagged him so much, she was sick with worry, so now he’s on a 3 month lockdown.
I’m doing his shopping,  so she doesn’t have to go out, they’re both staying home alone.
This is what he has, he’s already had two operations on his eyes and his nose rebuilt.

I'm so sorry @Lyn. I can understand the worry though. It's all very well wanting to work and needing to earn, but what good is it if you're lying in a hospital bed  - or worse.
    Love to you all xx
I'll have a look at your link.

Having thought a bout that post Zombie wasn't  the word I was looking for, 😉
There would be nothing they could do for him even in hospital, his immune system would just go completely haywire.
He’s  been through so much I wouldn’t like to see this happen to him. The doctors have really worked hard for him, there’s not many cases in the U.K. so they needed to find specialists.

It's hard enough @Lyn, even when it's a 'standard' illness or syndrome, never mind a rare one.
All made more difficult because of the situation. If only these selfish people would understand how easily they put others at risk.  :(

That’s what’s so frustrating, David’s not the only one with a rare illness,  no seem to think of the chain of events, it’s just what they want to do.
I suppose you can’t blame them in a way,  the younger generation have never had to do anything they didn’t want to, from little kids they’ve never been made  to do anything or think of others.  Something like this hits them hard, and I suppose they just can’t grasp a crisis, they’ve never know one.
I can remember very hard times, and rationing, they’ve never had any of that, and I’m glad they haven’t, but if everyone just did as advised, they could get on top of this.
Better stop ranting or I’ll  go on forever😀
