    It looks a bit like a Grevillea rosmarinifolia to me.

    Grevilleas tend to be very spiky to touch. Interesting to see what the flowers look like.Β 
  • So update - I did the smell/ rub Β test ! Nothing - no smell at all . However sueG1 and borderline- it was very spiked when I rubbed it !! I took a couple more pic and some of the buds ! Thank you very much for suggestions everyone !Β

    Why not knock the door and politely tell the owner you adore their plant, and would they be kind enough to tell you what it is?Β

    SueG1 is right, that looks like Grevillea now you have got closer with flower buds.Β 

    Could be Rosmarinifolia or Juniperina. These two are the hardiest for this country.
