Different Seasonal Raspberries

I've seen Mid season and Early season raspberries.

? Are there any others.

The same way there are 4 seasons of spuds.

I want to start off as many " seasons " as I can to have a longer time to enjoy them

I know there are Summer and Autumn fruiting.
Everyone is just trying to be Happy.....So lets help Them.

    Polka are invaluable. New canes will give a crop this year, September through to frosts.  I have left a few canes of last years on, and just tipped them. They will throw out side shoots and fruit in June. Some of mine already have flower buds on.  Terri louise do the same but are hard to get hold of.
    Add in Malling Jewel for early summer, Glen Ample for mid summer, Malling Admiral for late summer, and you could be eating raspberries for months and have some in the freezer for Xmas.

    I will research all the names you have supplied.

    ? Are there 3 different defined seasons with raspberries the same as potatoes.

    We have early, mid and late season raspberries  and get enough to still be eating frozen surplus ones at least to 4 times a week now. We tend to not eat the very early ones as we also have strawberries and they don't freeze so well so we eat them as they ripen. Polka is a great variety, they start cropping early August and go through to October. The books say light well drained soil but we are on heavy clay and they still perform.
