Am I right in thinking that self-isolation doesn't mean you can't go out in your garden or along a country lane for a walk in the fresh air? As long as you keep at least 2 metres away from anyone else, surely that's okay?
That doesn't make sense. You aren't going to touch anything if you're just walking. Of course OH's and other family members can go out as well. You would have to be careful not to open gates though.
Infecting / being infected by people within the same house, is almost inevitable. I suspect that leaving the boundaries of your property, would not count as self isolation. The biggest problems at the moment are: either panic, or being too blase.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
There was a prog on R4 over the weekend when what is meant by self isolation was described thus (not sure who it was but it was someone from 'Health').
Confine yourself to one room away from other people. If you have to share a bathroom you should use it after everyone else and your towels etc should be bagged and laundered separately. Your crockery and cutlery should be washed separately Your clothes and bedlinen should be laundered separately. Any personal waste (tissues, cotton buds etc) should be burnt or bagged.
Think that was it.

Does he consider his own children fall into that category ?
