Dead grass

Hi I live in Queensland and I laid some grass in December I had been watering 4times a day then we had a storm on the second week it lasted a week at least with lots of rain so I didn’t water for a week after the storm and when I cut the grass for the second time I noticed that mostly at one end a heap of dead patches. The grass is empire wot should I do

Hello Eddy, welcome to the forum

Bit tricky to answer really for me as this is a UK based forum, but we do have some lawn experts here.

Failing that maybe a photo would help, l daresay there are universal lawn problems !

Could be a number of issues. A picture would help greatly. When did it ever rain in Australia?
