I don't know what it is, but occasionally I get given a poinsettia for Christmas and after a while it usually ends up looking a bit like your photo - I'm not very good with houseplants..

  • Looks a bit like an almost dead leopard lily (Dieffenbachia) to me. Is it very dry?  Mine needs a lot of water or it keels over...
  • Just found out it’s a zig zag plant 🤪. Doesn’t look much like one at the moment though...
  • If it's a Pedilanthus tithymaloides, it needs lots of light and water, humid air and a minimum temp of 10C.

I would probably re-pot as well.
