Victorian flower ID please - hypericum and snowdrop? Any ideas?

Two flowers from the same victorian painting - maybe a large hypericum and a snowdrop? Any thoughts anyone? A bit twiggy for a hypericum perhaps. And how could they be in flower at the same time?

We also have Rhododendron praecox and Rhodo mucronulatum Cornell Pink in flower.
Down south in Cornwall many Rhodos will be flowering as well as a few late snowdrops.

My snowdrops only start to flower in mid to late February - and many azaleas are flowering in March, so it's not that unusual for them to be flowering together.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
