Perpetual strawberry runners

Pete.8Pete.8 Posts: 11,340
I planted some Mara de Bois strawberry plants in autumn 2018 and last year they threw out just a few runners and I have about 8 small new plants.
When should I move them?

Thanks

Thanks Philippa - they look decent little plants from runners produced last summer, but the umbilical cord, though withered is still attached to the mother :)
It looks like we're heading into a chilly spell, so prob best to wait that out.

Thanks Philippa - I've never grown strawberries before so your advice is much appreciated.
The babies look established and there are only 8 babies from 11 plants, so I'll move them after the cold snap before they get going.
