  Thanks Philippa - they look decent little plants from runners produced last summer, but the umbilical cord, though withered is still attached to the mother
  It looks like we're heading into a chilly spell, so prob best to wait that out.

  Thanks Philippa - I've never grown strawberries before so your advice is much appreciated.
  The babies look established and there are only 8 babies from 11 plants, so I'll move them after the cold snap before they get going.
