Moved house

I’ve finally moved house during half term and the internet is back on today, so I can take the opportunity to catch up with the forum and ask some questions (and there will probably be lots of those, so I apologise in advance). I’m grateful for any help.

I’ve found this is the garden and I have no idea what it might be. Can anyone help? I haven’t measured the depth or anything...
