Gardening at the edge of woodland can be frustrating at times but I can’t complain when I get uninvited visitors like this in spring

    It was quite nice down here in the south east today so went about clearing the borders.  Was surprised to see phlox and asters shooting and persicaria was even trying to flower 😮
