Help identifying plant or weed

What is this please? It's spreading over the garden but in small plants. I tried an app but that said it was kitchen sage or foxgloves which didn't seem right

Do foxgloves spread like weeds? The plants are popping up all over the place

Looking at borage pictures on Google it does seem similar. I guess I have to wait to see if it flowers?

I think the growing tips look more like borage than foxgloves.

You might be right, I often get them confused.

Interesting one. We shall investigate the hairs tomorrow! I must admit when I rubbed it to see if there was a sage smell I didn't really notice the hairs. Appreciate every one's help.

Could be Pentaglottis sempervirens (Green Alkanet) ; if so , very invasive and can be difficult to eradicate . Deep rooting with blackish woody roots .

Could be comfrey, I'm always getting them mixed up in my garden.  One of them has a slightly serated edge and the other a smooth but I can't remember which is which.
