Cimicifuga simplex 'Atropurpurea' seeds
How would you go about sowing Cimicifuga simplex 'Atropurpurea' seeds at this time of year? I was thinking of sowing them in a plastic box with a lid and leave them outside in a shaded area. I noticed it says on most websites to sow them in the autumn but the little bag I received them in says to plant them immediately. Oh, the dilemma

If I were starting them now, I would give them a few weeks in heat, then a few weeks in the fridge, then back into normal temperature, then wait and wait and wait.
