I sort out what I can, seed tins, pots trays etc, then I think about sorting the shed once & for all but never quite seem to get there. When the light levels pick up then I can start sowing in the greenhouse.
When I prune bushes, I leave the bits in the garage and when I've got gardening time and the weather is unfavourable, I put them through the shredder. Or I cut wood for the stove.
Looking at plant porn, yes, and drawing and redrawing garden plans. I realise I spend much more time in the garden in my head than I do in my actual garden. They are not very similar.
@jackrussell28 Tbh, I love it when the rain falls on my bit of London. I'm looking forward to a whole week of rain. The south-east badly needs it (even now), it keeps local crime low as the charmers stay indoors; and best of all - no chain-saw trail-bike hooligans tearing up the park. The sound of rain on the roof is heaven to me.
I feel bad though, for all those in flooded areas - struggling with loss of home and security with little help support from govt. And I feel for all the birds and insects that are impeded by rain - like the owls and the bees.

I live on the Beds/Herts border and we don't need more rain. I think that's the south east?
