Perhaps you could put them in pots and sink the pots in the ground , if it seems they are not going to flower you could lift them and they'll be good for next year.
I planted my allium bulbs in October, some of the shoots are 10 inches through already which is not a good thing. If you plants new bulbs out now I don’t think you will have any problem with them growing and flowering in spring.
Same here, mild winter is confusing the garden... If we get a cold snap I will be struggling.
I second Dovefromabove, plant them and see what happens, worst thing is you compost them in the autumn

I don't think there is such as thing as "bare root" aliums. Bare root bulbs are just called ... bulbs.
