Hi all just to update this - I got hundreds of Cosmos self seeders
- the earliest is about 12cm now but most are much smaller. These extra numbers are very helpful because my pot grown Cosmos are suffering heavy losses to the slugs when planted.

Once the self seeders get going they really get going and will soon catch up.
They're also much sturdier plants
