Wow!  What a feat!  That paving looks amazing!

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

The paving looks ace, hope you are proud of yourself, that was a massive undertaking!
  • Got most of the path down now....just need to do the pointing which ill use flowpoint for again..

Will probably do a bit of a plant shuffle in autumn. Move some of the hostas and helebores. I am thinking about planting a Loquat tree, Eriobotrya japonica, somewhere about where the succulent is (the succulent is just sitting there for now as it doesn't really have a home..)

@newprojectgarden Is Flowpoint new. I can see that it would stop the problem of weeds between the sets?
Are you using Granite and is it none slip? Thankyou.
I have worked as a Gardener for 24 years. My latest garden is a new build garden on heavy clay.

Hi, I don't think it's new, it works great, bit of technique to using it, but plenty of videos on youtube, and yes is weed proof, jetwash proof etc
Yes they are granite and pretty much non slip :)
  • I guess this is a goodbye to everyone. This thread has been active for 4 years.  Such a shame that they can't be bothered to keep a forum going. Pretty sad. I can't even be bothered to upload a latest photo. Thanks for nothing Gardner's world.

@newprojectgarden This  garden design project has been a privilege to read. I have  followed it since joining the forum. A great insight into the process of creating a garden over time, which is the very best way as you know. You have showed not just the positives but also the challenges which always occur, so important. If this information had been presented in book form it would have lost it's spontaneity, that is why it is very special thread.

I hope you will take some positivity from the beautiful photos you have shared too. Gardeners that write here regularly will have enjoyed your plantsmanship, for those new to gardening who just drop in for a read, they will be inspired and there will be m

  • Thank you for the kind words @GardenerSuze . Sorry for my negative post it does come across as a bit rude, it's just frustrating as I'll loose all record of my posts when the forum closes and it's been really nice having everything recorded and also sharing with people and learning from others. I've also met some very friendly people here. Also as I've managed to keep the thread going for so long. Oh well, all good things come to an end. Thanks again everyone, it's been a pleasure x
