Spireas

My Spireas grow well and bud up but do not flower.  They have been planted in a north facing garden for three years but have never flowered.

    Welcome to the forum, @Penny50
There are all kinds of plants that go under the name of "spirea", so it's impossible to answer your question if you do not specify what kind of spirea you have.
    Do you have a photo?
  • Hi, I'm so sorry but I put in the wrong plant name.  The plant that will not flower is an Astilbe.

Astilbes need a constantly moist soil. That might be the problem. See some advice on this site: https://www.almanac.com/plant/astilbe

  • Thank you for your advise. I'll take a look at the site.
