What plant is this no 4

This was a bulb when planted a few years ago. It has spread a little and will flower now until about May(?). Then starts to die off and pops back up the next winter. Any ideas?

My guess is anemone caen, but not 100% sure.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
