Mystery plant ID please

Daughter Possum has been given a plant with no name or care instructions.  She lives in an apartment so we need to know whether it will cope or should be given to a good home.

Any ideas?  I can ask for a better pic of the flowers tomorrow if needed.

I think that this is Euphorbia milii. Sorry but i don't know english name for this plant. We call it in Croatia Jesus crown.

Ante30 is spot on with the ID ; definitely Euphorbia milii .
Flower colour varies from pale pink to crimson .
Needs very well drained gritty growing medium , virtually no water during winter months ; full sunshine and good aeration .

Thank you both.    I don't grow euphorbias so would never have recognised it.
