Bulbs / tubers / bulblets that thrive in possibly damp conditions

I'm looking for some kind of bulbish thing to plant that can look after themselves, multiply over the years (not disappear) and don't mind damp. I have raised beds that get dryish in summer and are wet in winter. Species tulips bulbs etc just rotted away through the winter. Iris reticulata are lovely but don't return much after a few years. I've put in lots of snowdrops and they do well and don't mind the wet. I have celendine, which I don't mind. I don't want wild garlic as it will spread everywhere (though I love the flower and it taste delish). Any thoughts on the tough stuff out there?

    In my old bog winter acconites did well as did daffs, daylillies and Montbretia.

    Snakes-head fritillaries like wet conditions.

    skunk cabbage are now a banned species, you can't buy it, although you're allowed to keep it if its already in your garden
