    Great pics, @mikeymustard , especially the Turk's cap(?) lily.
    I planted a specimen of Clematis 'Samaritan Jo' in my garden 3 years ago and have ben enjoying it ever since. It's a very elegant flower, well-rendered in your photo, and in my garden is extremely flowerful. It has finished its first flowering and I have just pruned it down to 50cm, and am expecting a new show of flowers in September.

    @Papi Jo I've just found the pic of it that you posted in the "Rose/clematis combo thread", that's a beaut! I absolutely love mine: I only bought it last autumn but despite growing to less than a metre it has flowered right through since May 8th!

    You've really pruned it to 50cm? I was going to just give mine a bit of a haircut, but now I think I'm going to be brave and scalp it!
