Nothing at all wrong with Adblocker, but our other site likes adverts to appear, they rely on the money, they know when you have one installed and ask you not to use it, (it is actually in the small print)  as does this one, I only use one for annoying pop ups.

Another reason I don’t use it all the time is that I can’t click on links on some sites as the blocker blocks it, I can’t click into my charity when I make an internet purchase either.

I hope this helps the OP with his first post. Maybe he has come across a better adblocker and will let us know?

I don't really find the ads intrusive. They're easy to ignore and I don't get any pop ups. It seems a bit unfair to block ads on a free site.
What i really resent is buying a ridiculously expensive magazine and finding that it's full of advertising. Can't remember when I last bought one.

I've never , ever bought anything, product or service or otherwise because I've seen an advert on a website.
Facebook seem to think I'm in the market for very expensive holidays and cars and all sorts of other tosh. I just block every single advertiser as " irrelevant"
Radio Times can't be viewed with an ad block and the ads are horrendous , but I just look in to see what's on tv then close it down
