Hi all,

i am an absolute novice when i come to plants and need some advice. I was given a yucca that wasnt to healthy. I have been nurturing it, and it looks like it is coming back to life. Its a fighter! Now it looks like this. Are these roots? Do you think this healthy part needs cutting off and replanting? Any advice is greatly appreciated

Adventitious roots emerging from the stems like that normally indicate a problem with the roots or stem below them . The plant is battling for survival .
You can cut off the stem just below these roots , leave to callous for a week or two and then re-plant in a well drained growing medium .
Give as bright a position as possible for healthy strong growth .
