Tufted vetch, lots of daisies, one flower on Vinca major, plus recently-planted Sarcococca and Erica darleyensis.  More by next Jan I hope!

Geum rivale 'Leonard's Variety' (hadn't spotted that until today), Rudbeckia looking tatty but also putting out new buds, Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve' which normally has more flower at this point, Viburnum bodnantense, Calendula officinalis.

Daucus carota 'Dara' (over, really), Aponogeton distachyos in the pond, Primula vulgaris, Lobularia maritima hanging on, just, a few sparse blooms on Solanum laxum 'Album'.

Helleborus niger - Lidl bargain cheering me up every day, Jasminum nudiflorum, Choisya ternata, Bergenia (not sure which), Viburnum tinus.

    Happy New Year!

I think you lot have beaten me hands down this year. Besides Jasminium nudiflorum, a few primulas, 1 lone primrose and purple/pink hellebores in bud, I've only got some snowdrops, 1 hellebore niger,  prostrate rosemary plus the "Xmas pudding" !! Not walked round the front garden yet but I don't think there's much out there.

    Happy New year to everyone.

As I've newly arrived in this "wild" garden (= neglected!), I'm thankful for small mercies.  To add to my earlier short list, I've found a tiny yellow saxifrage (S.juniperifolia, I think) blooming on the tufa which used to be in my dad's garden, and a lovely delicate pink fumitory growing through the brambles...   :)

A pretty poor showing here but more than I expected after this bout of wet and cold weather. It's an interesting comparison to last year when things were doing a bit too well.
Mahonia Japonica, looking great and all in full flower.
Erysimum Bowes Mauve, still doing ok considering.
Primula vulgaris, a couple of potted plants flowering well in sheltered spots.
Erigeron karvinskianus, one or two flowers on a potted plant.
Dandelion Taraxacum officinale, a lone flower in the lawn.
Common daisy, Bellis perennis, one volunteer plant growing out of my poorly weeded driveway and merrily flowering away.
Hebe 'sapphire', still has a few flowers.
Vibernam, not sure of the cultivars but two different types with a few flowers. Less than last year though.
Jasminum nudiflorum, winter jasmine, living up to its name.
Saxifrage, one of the mossy ones has a lone pink flower.
Tanacetum parthenium, feverfew, one or two flowers on a potted plant.

    Other honourable mentions:
Celmesia Hectorii, supposed to flower in May but seems to be ahead of itself in the open-sided coldframe.
Lavandula angustifolia, English lavender had a couple of flowers that are making the greenhouse smell nice.
Prunella vulgaris, self-heal, no idea why this is trying to flower in winter when all the ones next to it are dried up.
Locally I saw a ragwort and buttercup in flower.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Not much around for me, though some of the ones that are around are a little odd for my experience:

Hardy Fuchsias - still a few flowers, with some more on the way. They're always great, but usually ours have shed their leaves and died down by now, but they're still pumping out new buds even now, so its a solid 6 months of flowering so far.

Rose (unknown Hybrid tea left over from a previous owner) - No actual flowers at the moment, but has 5 buds slowly working their way open. Leaves are starting to yellow though so not sure it will go much further. Every other rose we have is completely barren for weeks already, yet this one is still plodding along somewhat.

Heather - the only normal one for us, lots of flowers as usual, but we only have the one. (Really must look into taking some cuttings...).
