Crambe Cordifolia

Just got my Hayloft Catalogue so going through to see what seeds I want for next year, has anyone grown these, if so any tips, quite expensive £3.99 for 10, but looks like a very useful plant for back or middle of border.

    I grew this in my last garden. I loved it. Some folk don't like the smell, TBH , I never noticed it.
    I found the odd self set seedling when I grew it.
    It's pretty tall, 6ft plus and you might have a problem with the wind where you are.

    I had one, it got very big very quickly and looked good, but the smell was unbearable - really foul.
    It went on the compost heap

    Pretty plant but mine was eaten alive by cabbage white caterpillars

    I’ve got the online Chiltern catalogue now,   Picked out loads, wasn’t going to grow anything else, gardens full, how can anyone resist though.

    I sent in a small order yesterday mostly sweet peas and I do agree it irresistible
