    What a nice and resourceful use of dead Christmas trees.  When I lived on Galveston Island, the city would take picked up dead trees out to the sand dune end of the island to help with wind erosion.

    One of our local hospice charities collected Christmas trees for recycling in return for donations. They raised £22,000 last year, and are hoping to exceed that total this year.
