Hopefully the announcements today regarding NHS funding will, over time, improve things. It's not a magic wand and it will certainly take time for any difference to be seen. It's also a political pledge and we all know the value of those. Time will tell.

Yes the intention is to enshrine it in law which is obviously a good thing. The sad part is that the Government clearly thinks the only way a promise is likely to be kept is if it is put into law.
That's not a criticism of this Government, they have at least acknowledged there is a problem.

After 10 years in power, I should flippin' think so too.
I tried to cancel an appointment yesterday. When I got to seventh in the queue, I got cut off. Fortunately, my husband was able to go down to the surgery in person. If they had a special number for cancellations, there might not be so many missed appointments.
