Fig, Brown Turkey

Hi all, 
my fig tree is looking very forlorn! I don't recall it looking like this last year..all leaves gone and really sad looking 

any help much appreciated

    Hi @michelelias and welcome 😊. I’m afraid it’s  what fig trees do ... they lose their leaves in the autumn ... they’re deciduous. Ours is exactly the same ... stark naked ... not a single fig leaf 😉

    But there’s no need to worry 👍 

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Not even a gig leaf to cover one's modesty 😂 but yes I'm with @Dovefromabove mine has gone starkers too.

    Even mine in a cold greenhouse is showing its bits now, over a bed of fallen leaves. :D
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
