Old compost

Will 2year old John Innes compost, in an unopened bag, still be good to use. It has been kept dry and out of the sun.

    Interesting. I've heard too that you should use compost as soon as possible and not store it for years.

    IMHO, worst case scenario is you'll have to feed plants earlier than usual
    Devon.
