Leaf Spot on Standard Photinia

Good Evening Everyone, I am hoping you can help please! We have a standard photinia that we love dearly which has developed black spots all over each of its leaves. It is usually a very healthy tree and don’t know why this leaf spot has occurred! Does anyone have any tips on how to cure it please?
Thanks :)

  • Photinia, if under stress are very prone to leaf spot, as are semi mature specimens.
Pick off the worst affected ( I know that may mean most of them at this time of year) or wait until they drop as new foliage appears , but make sure you collect and destroy all fallen leaves to avoid contamination

The attched link has some good information under the section headed 'problems'
    Hope this helps.
