Canna lilly

Hi all I have a couple of canna Lilly's in my garden what's the best way to over winter them do I just keep them in a unheated greenhouse, or should I lift them and store them in a warm place overwinter I live in the north west in a north facing garden

    I lift mine pot up and leave them in a unheated greenhouse. Try not to let them totally dry out but I keep them  dryish overwinter

    For the past 2 years, I’ve lifted and left them in an unheated garage, and all of them have come out okay.

    I'll have to move them in a protected spot soon...and have been delaying it as much as possible since they're still in flower. Inconvenient nature 😂 my bulbs are waiting to take their spot.

    Lifted and shake off soil as much as I can now wrapped in newspaper and stored in unheated summer house. First time grown the canna lily not only that but from seeds. Was late in summer and young plants gobbled by slugs and snails. What chances of plants to survive coming up next year?
