Please diagnose my Hydrangea
Hi all,
In the past month, one of my relatively young hydrangeas (approx.3-4 months old) has gone downhill very fast. Black rimmed leaves that are now turning yellow.
Is this a mineral deficiency or a case of over-watering due to the weather?
Thanks,
James

It looks big if it's a 3 month old plant.
It could be a bit droopy as it may have grown quite quickly after being planted - the stems are very fine. Otherwise, it's probably fine.
Can you offer more info about the soil and if you've been feeding it etc? They don't really need much other than water.

Perhaps the OP could come back with more info

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have to say - I thought it looked a bit 'off', but I took @jpilarge at his word that it was a hydrangea. It's why I asked about the 3 or 4 month thing though
