Wrong kind of digits @wild edges.  French equivalent of microchip type digital is "numérique"

It's begun. A Christmas tree evident in a local house and there was a lady of questionable virtue in M&S asking Santa to deposit a coat made of dead animal skins under her tree.

Awake at stupid o'clock, looked outside, nice and clear. " I'll make a cuppa and go watch the Leonid meteor shower. Make tea, put on shoes, go outdoors : it's clouded over. PAH!!!!

Definitely a "King's new clothes" situation.

I wish you could get digital kid's shoes. We had to upgrade our oldest boy's shoes again last week and got him some nifty walking boots to get him through the winter. I know we'll get 2 kids worth of use out of them and then sell them to get some money back but they still seem awfully expensive for what they are. I did score some cool bright yellow RNLI wellies from Ebay for him though for a nice cheap price.

Mostly grumpy today though because there were feathers scattered around the bird feeder this morning. I thought the sparrow hawk had been helping reduce my feed costs but then I caught that bleedin' cat lurking in the bushes again. It's really not taking the hint that it's not welcome here.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I remember buying my daughter a new pair of startrite shoes - not cheap. Two weeks later, her feet had grown and they didn't fit her. Bad timing😕

I put a comment on the giggle thread and it stayed a couple of pages back. Am i being censored or paranoid?

Neither @B3 ... you’ve posted it on an old thread 😉

Thanks @Dovefromabove. It's a relief to find out you're paranoid if you know what I mean 😊
