Bug eating viola

Hi, my violas are all eaten, I was inpecting them during the day and I found black spots which I though were small eggs or small bugs but by zooming the pict it is not clear what they are. Tonite I went out with a lamp and I noticed many bugs, do you think those little fellows are eating the violas? How can I remove them from my plants? (Blue pellets are for the snail)

No those are woodlice, and they mainly eat rotting material.
It's most likely slugs and/or snails, but I'm afraid the amount of pellets you've put dowm is likely to attract them even more. Only two or three would be fine.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
