Flexi Hose recommendations

Every time I wash my car I have the task of untangling the hose, then un-kinking it and often getting a soaking in the process.
I've been dubious about flexi/extendable hoses, but if there's a good one out there I'd be keen to know.
It only needs to be about 50ft in length

Any recommendations please?

Never seen a good review about a flexi-hose.  Spend the money instead on a good hose and reel that won't kink.  I had a Gardena one, bought in 1991 that was still in good nick and only just starting to kink 25 years later.

I have bought 2 flexi hosepipes in the past and both split within a few months. They were the sort that is covered with wrinkly green fabric.

Oh dear - I've got a green wrinkly covered one - a 100 ft one - that I've had for just over three years ... guaranteed now to go the next time it's out  :'(

Use a watering can. I don't think I've ever used a hose for cleaning the car. Comes from previous houses where there was never a tap close enough to the drive.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • I’ve had a Hoselock hose and reel for about 12+ years. Never had a problem with it. 👍

I would also stick with a conventional hose.  Some claim to be anti-kink but the hose I had which kinked worst claimed to be anti-kink!

    Thank you all.
From your comments it doesn't sound like flexi/extendable hoses are any good.
I do have a hozelock 150ft hose on a reel for the back garden and a similar shorter one for the end of the garden which are great but wanted something small and easy to use just for washing my car at the front of the house.
Sounds like I may as well stick with my kinky/tangley hose :)
