Ericaceous Compost

I have an excess of ericaceous Compost would it be OK to use in my winter interest planters for things such as winter flowering pansies, cyclamen, etc?

    Yes.  Neither of those is fussy about alkalinity or acicity of the soil but you could also save your ericaceous compost for mulching round rhodos, azaleas, pieris, hamamelis etc and use ordinary compost for the pansies and co.
