Tetrapanax

Hi all, I'm in the process of putting the garden to bed for winter I'm wrapping up bananas and tree ferns. I have a tetrapanax or t rex plant it's only small would this be better lifted or left in place ? I'm situated in mid York's and this section of garden gets full sun it does get north winds

    If it were me, I would lift it, whilst it remains small. When larger, although the frost might kill off the top, it should still regrow from the base.

    Thanks punkdoc, I've been very undecided what to do with it. It's in a tropical  themed  area  and I want it to become a big specimen plant alongside bananas, cordylines, cannas etc (some plants are totally native but grow huge and very green in 1 season so look the part)
