  Much the same Philippa, just a bit more overgrown. I’ve just walked around the estate noting jobs to be done, marked some of those shrubs from the long border to come out, they’ve made 8/9ft this year, there’s so much still growing though I can’t do much yet.

  Those aconitum seeds Lyn, I'm assuming you'll be wearing full chemical/biological warfare suit to collect them?

  All you need is a sharp pair of secateurs and a paper bag in which to up-end the cut stems with seedheads.  Easy peasy.  No danger.

  I’ve still got me mums gas mask, will that do,? 
  I’ve  been growing these from seeds for quite a while still here. No gloves.
