Should you deadhead Japanese Anemones? Does it encourage re-flowering

    If you pick the last of your Japanese Anemones, after the petals have dropped, the seed heads will open out into to a lovely ball of fluff, just like cotton wool. Very attractive in a dried flower/ seedhead display indoors. I do it every year, they last for ages.
    I've never seen that - perhaps they get blown away before I get a chance. Must try harder  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
