  • I think the 'spawning season' has been delayed by the dry weather in many parts of the UK and the recent rain has enabled the underground mycellium to catch-up and send up their fruiting bodies.  I love seeing them, especially knowing they are improving the soil without me having to lift a finger!  :)🍄🍄🍄

    I can't say I've noticed a difference here - we always have lots of them, but I think a lot of places have certainly had more rain than they normally see, after their drier spells,  so I think @BobTheGardener is probably right.  :)

    I agree - nice, handy garden friends  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....



    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
