    Well I wish I had read all your advice before running to garden centre. Although it gave me chance to have a look at current plants. So now to order online as garden centre don't stock.

    Thank you all for your help. Having now read all the info on nematodes I realise that in two days the weather is going to be too cold i.e. under 5c where I live to use them. So I am going to wait till after winter and weather on the up. Unless there is something else I can use with dogs And hedgehogs around?

    Depends where you are in the UK Sarah, but having seen the Countryfile forecast for the next week, after a dip in temperature tomorrow night into Tuesday, l think it is due to get mild again for the rest of the week.
    I'm not sure if there will be any plant roots left by the Spring ?
