Planting/Soaking Anemones:
I've got some bulbs/tubers to plant, which unfortunately got delayed due to other issues, including some Anemones, Snowdrops (they've no doubt had it but we'll see), which I want to get sorted out so if any of them are still viable at this point I'll at least get something out of it.
All the advice I've seen is to soak them for at least a few hours prior to planting.
However for the past couple of weeks it's been raining (sometimes fairly heavily) at least every other day so the ground is fairly moist (though not 'boggy') at the moment, and there is more heavy rain expected everyday from now until Monday.
Bearing that in mind, should I still soak them in advance or should I just plant them? (Essentially would soaking + damp soil + heavy rain after result in the other extreme of them being too wet?).
