Corsican Pine or Scots Pine?

Hello,
I am conducting fieldwork in the UK and I need to identify a tree which I think is either a Scots pine or a Corsican (black) pine but I am not sure. These pictures were taken in Warrington, UK. Any help would be appreciated.

Just going by needle length I'd say it's not a Scots pine. It doesn't rule out other types of black pine though.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I would agree that it is not a Scots pine, but I don't know what it is.
How can you lie there and think of England

The clue to Pinus sylvestris.....Scots pine is to look to the top of the tree.
It has gorgeous red, bare bark...but easier to see on old trees.
Pinus nigra, the Austrian pine or black pine.
The needles occur in pairs, are 10–15cm long and very stiff. They have slightly serrated edges and can be straight or curved.
