Orange crocus monarch

This is the first year I have noticed you can buy orange crocus! When did that happen? I assume they have been available for a while as I’m not very observant. 
I also noticed they were quite pricey in the GC I was in. 
Anyone grown them already? Are they fab and go buy some, or a bit...orange crocus...so what? I do like orange (well...a lot more than yellow anyway).

    I've just planted some. I didn't get any last year as I was too late. I got them from Peter Nyssen  :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Ah they are a bit cheaper at Peter Nyssen than the GC. Did they go in a bed Fairy or in grass? I’m thinking it’s a good colour for naturalising.

    Mine are in a border, and some in a pot  :)
