Fennel

I have a Fennel plant in a sheltered location.

It's  about seven foot high and wondered how best to overwinter it.

    Herb fennel? Leave it be ...  it’s hardy. In the spring I cut mine down to approx 6” - 12” ... it’ll make new growth and there’ll be more baby plants growing up around it from fallen seeds. 


    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
