Any idea what this is?

Hi all, 

I have recently been allocated an allotment which needs quite a bit of work. I'm trying to see what is worth keeping. Any ideas what this is? There are a few across the site.

    Has the look of a weedy willow...Salix sp.

    I agree with ss.  They don't make garden-worthy (or indeed allotment-worthy) trees so I would dig it out while it is still relatively small..
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
