Humus rich compost

Can anyone recommend a good humus rich compost? I'm told it's good for ilex meserveae blue angel and ilex aquif. argentea marginata?

    Assuming you are planting these hollies in soil, mix in any thing like home made compost or well rotted farm yard manure.  A handful of blood fish and bone mixed in would not go amiss either.

    I'd agree with @fidgetbones. Hollies don't need anything special, but they do appreciate a decent enough soil to give them a start.
    I have clay soil, and all I do is add manure or compost when digging the hole, and a bit of F,B&B. Once they establish - that's it.  :)
    If they're going in pots, that's different. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
