    I have had straweberries on wooden containers the Hubby made,they arent very big, about the size of those plastic windows boxes, they sit on the edge of our pond, (to keep them in view because of the birds!) they are never fed, because it would drain into the pond (fish) hardly ever watered, and produce a good crop every year.  However, this year I have bought, "Just Add Cream", Mara De Bois,he has made me a big wooden planter, to keep them off the ground and slugs, he pops a stone over the runner to peg it in and we have enough now to supply Sainsbury next year.He cuts the foliage off, I dont

    The4y have been in situ for about 4 or 5 years now, they are "Marshmallo"
