I Won a non-cash gardening raffle yesterday!

I just joined the U.S.  National Gardening Association on-line last month. Have really enjoyed the site.  They even have a British Gardening forum, and a Cottage Garden forum some here (I think) belong to, as I recognize their on-line names.  Well, the NGA website holds an annual "non-raffle" where no money is exchanged. You buy tickets with "acorns" members earn on the site when you either add photos, data details or particularly useful information on a plant in the database you have (new plants added as needed). I shot my entire wad of 100 acorns on 50 tickets and won at 3rd place! I'm nearly 71 and have never won a raffle or door prize in my entire life!
The 21 prizes to choose from were real nice, mostly donated by on-line gardening/nursery  garden center vendors. I picked as my prize this set of heavy duty garden tools: https://www.cobrahead.com/original-mini-long-handle-deal/. They came highly recommended from several people I chat with on other garden forums. The tools should be handy both down at our country getaway cabin and I will probably keep the medium sized one here in the city for tending these gardens.  Anywho.........just wanted to share my excitement with people who can appreciate a nice prize like this.

Congratulations @PeggyTX! What a wonderful surprise and lovely prize chosen by you.👍👍 You’ll have to celebrate with cake🎂!
I have been dieting it seems like forever, Biker...........so I like your idea.  I baked liver treats for my rat terrier today.  She's allergic to most store-bought treats.  Maybe I'll bake a cake this afternoon, for me, and so my husband won't be jealous I baked for the dog today (he's off tabletop war-gaming in Austin) and not him.  LOL  Besides, when the tools arrive, they look like they could be lethal weapons. LOL
